WEBMASTER’S BLOG – BB 10
8/26/08 – Episode 20 – “Replacement Nominee Roulette” – I’m glad Dan backed out of the stupid deal he made. He’s more of a shrewd player and hopefully people will see that (at least that’s what he’s got to be thinking). He is smart to target Michelle, as we have seen her top ranked as the best player for weeks. Why does Jerry’s wife talk like he does? What is wrong with that family? Just wondering. Thursday’s double eviction should be interesting!

8/24/08 – Episode 19 – “He Made a Funky Ass Deal” – Dan’s strategy might be good to get him further in the game, but I don’t see how he can win by pretending to be a weak player. He’d have to then say (to the jury) that this was his plan all along – but who would believe him? I’m sticking with Keesha (or even Michelle), who right now, are the best players.
8/21/08 – Episode 18 – “April May Not” – Glad to see April gone, though I used to like her. Ollie should be a soon target, or will he? Not clear – depends on who wins HoH. I can’t wait for BB Fast Forward next Thursday- I am hoping this season ends before my trip back to Philadelphia on September 18, because I don’t want to miss any of it. Let’s see – early predictions here based on my ranker say that Ollie and Jerry should be the next to go, but we shall see.
8/19/08 – Episode 17 – “Kill or Be Killed” – I knew Dan wouldn’t use the PoV – no surprise there. It’s not fair that he went to Renny to start to make her think otherwise—she’s the one in power, so he should respect that.
8/17/08 – Episode 16 – “Crickets and
Lollipops” – Renny’s nominations were good, though she
probably should have nominated Ollie since he will just obviously vote
for April to stay. She’s smarter than I thought she was (Renny,
that is).
8/14/08 – Episode 15 – “The Liberation of Libra”
– Sorry to see Libra go, but happy for Keesha. April
is just a bitch – I can’t believe I liked her so much before.
8/12/08 – Episode 14 – “The Old Bull and the Onions” – Not much to comment on that I haven’t already said before. Jerry is a fat ass and is out of line with his stupid Judas comments. I’m going out of a limb and predicting Keesha to win it all – she’s played the best game so far (except for possibly Michelle) – even though she may get evicted.
8/10/08 – Episode 13 – “I Can’t Stand That Bitch”. “Which One?” – Renny seems to yell at people at the drop of a hat. She’s scary. By the way, I’m sick of Jerry’s holier-than-thou attitude about Dan. Didn’t Jerry do the SAME THING during the vote against Brian? I wish someone would remind him. Dan is clearly not a weak player – he’s in 2nd place in my ranker (mostly due to becoming America’s Player, but still…). Michelle is in 1st Place for the 9th episode in a row – the record is 14 by Danielle in BB 8. April is definitely 2-faced and I’m also getting sick of her. Not as sick as I am of fat-assed Jerry (sorry) but it’s getting close.
8/7/08 – Episode 12 – “The Man Was Evicted” – So glad to see Jessie GONE but soured by Michelle winning HoH afterwards. It will be a battle now. She’ll put up Keesha and Libra for sure. Libra is a good bet to win PoV, however, so we’ll see. I’m switching my vote to win it all from Ollie (who is way too under the radar to win BB) to April.
8/5/08 – Episode 11 – “Happy Birthday Keesha” – CBS, please stop showing scenes from the show before the credits start – what is this, the Fox Network? It’s annoying. I am wondering if the producers aren’t egging the house guests on to fight with each other – no one really fights that much, do they? I would love to know the answer to that. Michelle, once one of my favorites, is very immature and showed her true colors. She was “in that place” because she DID deserve it – she came in 5th in the PoV. If you want a better prize, win the damn thing next time. And by the way, it’s just a game. Libra did exactly what I would have done… probably what Michelle herself would have done. So get over it!
8/3/08 – Episode 10 – “No Way In Hell Am I Letting Go”
– Very glad to see April win HoH. But Keesha cozying up to Memphis
is not good. Glad to see both Memphis and especially Jessie nominated.
From now until Episode 20, HoH wins are 50 points instead of 25 points in my
House Guest Ranker. Michelle is still the power player, according to my
rankings. She has a solid hold on 1st Place for six straight
episodes, and coming in a strong 2nd in HoH competition didn’t
hurt.
7/31/08 – Episode 9 – “Down Down Down” – Really sorry that Jessie was not evicted. I hope the HGs aren’t as sorry this week. Angie gave probably the best pre-eviction speech I’ve ever heard.
7/29/08 – Episode 8 – “I Gave My Word” – Kudos to Keesha for sticking by her word despite all the attempts by a desperate Jessie to sway her. Once again, I hope Jessie is evicted! And Memphis not too far behind him! I haven’t predicted the same person to win for this many episodes at the start of the season ever, I don’t think! But Ollie is under the radar and in an alliance and hasn’t won much yet but should prove to be a strong player. My formula says Michelle is strong too, but perhaps a little too strong for others’ tastes.
7/27/08 – Episode 7 – “I Am Changing This Game” – I hope Keesha’s brave nominations don’t come back to haunt her. I hope people will see this as an opportunity to get rid of Jessie. He’s arrogant and too strong.
7/23/08 – Episode 6 – “Under This Cloud of Brian” – Surprised at 9-0 vote, but I didn’t really care who went home. I am partially glad Keesha got HoH – now we can see where she really stands. Apparently the fight with Libra is way over. And there’s a lot of other stuff going on in the house that we casual TV-watchers have no idea about, judging from Steven’s speech. Oh well, I don’t have time to watch the live feeds and they spoil the TV show anyway. Keesha should nominate Jerry and Renny (my prediction). I hope she nominates Memphis (won’t happen) and Dan (unlikely).
7/22/08 – Episode 5 – “If My Voice Ever Clears Up” – Jessie is getting “power-cocky”, thinking he runs the whole house. Is this the “world’s biggest alliance” or what? There are only like 2 or 3 people who AREN’T in it! Michelle is smart – I like her a lot.
7/20/08 – Episode 4 – “Jessie Loves Jessie” – Jessie does have a big head. Actually he physically has a small head, compared to his big body, but I mean he’s full of himself. Jerry continues to get on my nerves with the never-ending comment about not wearing the military garb on the day he nominated Brian. Tired of it already! Sorry to see Steven be so anti-Jessie and anti-the other team. He lied straight out (no pun intended) when he said he was sleeping while Jessie got his HoH key. They all saw him on the monitor. Anyway, not a cool move. I can’t decide if I really like April and Libra or if Keesha and Angie are really “the good ones”.
7/16/08 – Episode 3 – “Jerry’s Angels” - Even though it was edited to make it look like Renny might go home, I knew Brian would be leaving, thankfully. Keesha definitely has a bad temper. Does Jerry’s voice get on anyone else’s nerves? And what does April see in Ollie? I don’t think he’s good looking at all. Oh well.
7/15/08 – Episode 2 – “Cut the Baby in Half” - What a great coup – and only in the second episode! This season is great so far! Brian, instead of “buying” votes, should have just told people who he wanted them to vote for (Jessie) and explained why. But he got power hungry and this is the result. I love it. Kudos to the girls (especially Libra) for being smart enough to recognize it.
7/13/08 – Episode 1 – “April’s Boobs are Real” - Usually winning the 1st HoH is a death knell, but for Jerry, I don’t think so. His nominations made sense based on the conflict, and I think he’ll come out of this smelling like a rose. Renny is very weird and I predict she’ll go home. April is the one who says she has “OCD” – she means “OCPD” (trust me, I know) and that makes me like her more. Brian, Dan, and especially Memphis are a little too cocky for me at this point.
7/9/08 – Pre-Show – House Guests Announced:
Angie – Sounds like a fun person but someone not too snobby. I like her.
April - Sounds a bit like an airhead, but possibly a nice one. Seems OK.
Brian – Seems like he’s obnoxious, but time will tell. Is
Dan – AKA “The Woman Hater” J What is Kinesiology anyway? This is the resident bible-thumper, and sometimes that’s OK, but his opinion of women makes me dislike him.
Jerry – AKA “The Old Guy” J OK. At my age (somewhere in my late 40s, let’s just say), I thought I was too old to be on this show. But this is ridiculous. How will Jerry hang from a web in an endurance competition? Can he even climb the stairs to get to the HoH room? J
Seems nice, but if I were the HGs, I’d get rid of him quickly because if he’s in the final 2, he will win.
Jessie – AKA “The Guy on Steroids” J Seems OK but “hanging out behind the scenes” never wins Big Brother, unless you are Lisa.
Keesha – AKA “The Hooters Girl” J I like her so far. She loves animals and PETA, and even though she’s a vegetarian and I’m not, we have the “proud accomplishment of moving to California without knowing anyone” thing in common.
Libra – AKA “The Zodiac-Named Woman” J Seems like she might be TOO nice and naïve to go far in the game.
Memphis – AKA “The Bartender” J Not a lot of info on him – he’s a bartender with a long-term relationship, basically. Seems OK.
Michelle – AKA “The Lion’s Mane” J Seems very tomboyish and could also get along with both sexes – that’s a threat! Another favorite to go far in the game.
Ollie – AKA “The Black Guy” J Seems very nice and smart – probably a favorite to win it all (at this very very early stage).
Renny – AKA “The Older Lady” J Looks great for 53 – can you say “air brush”? A socialite – hmmm…l am guessing she’s a little bit judgmental, which means I won’t like her.
Steven – AKA “The Gay Guy” J Not stereotypically gay, which is a HUGE first for Big Brother. Seems like a good guy.
